About Mia

Mia Rosenberg, LCSW always knew that her passion was in helping children and families, so she followed her dreams through a major in Psychology with a minor in Child Development, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University. She continued to pursue her goals by graduating with a Masters degree in Social Work from New York University, with an emphasis on clinical work. Mia furthered her education by gaining certification Child and Family Therapy from New York University. Mia has been featured in a variety of both professional and non-professional news publications such as bustle.com, elitedaily.com, and yahoo.com, just to name a few.

Approach

Mia has dedicated her practice to helping children, adolescents, families, and young adults who may be facing obstacles in their personal, social, or professional lives. Mia will help you reach your goals by providing you with the skills and the best quality of service that you or your child may need. With her experience working with children, adolescents, and their families, Mia will help you find results through her unique approach to psychotherapy. Her approach is to look at each individual as unique and different while using a solution-focused lens. She creates individualized treatment plans based on each client’s unique presenting problem and individual needs.

Mia believes in a strengths-based approach, which allows collaborative problem solving and building trust and honesty with the client, while also emphasizing possibilities. Mia’s added humorous and playful touch allows for a compassionate and relatable approach to the therapeutic alliance she creates with her clients. With her training in acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, behavior modification, cognitive behavioral therapy, and play therapy, Mia is here to support the change you are looking for.

About Lexi

Lexi Miller, LCSW grew up in New York and earned her undergraduate degree at The University of Maryland, where she majored in Family Studies and minored in Child Development. Lexi decided to pursue a Social Work path and went on to earn her Masters in Social Work from New York University. Lexi has experience working in a variety of different settings including schools, as well as medical and inpatient settings working with adolescents and adults with chronic illness. Lexi has experience conducting comprehensive psychosocial interviews, providing sensitive case management, supportive counseling and developing unique and evidenced-based treatment plans for her clients. 

Approach

Lexi’s approach is client-centered, with the goal of supporting and empowering individuals to overcome challenges and improve their overall quality of life. Lexi leads with empathy and compassion, and provides an environment that is safe, non-judgmental and warm, which ultimately enables a collaborative and supportive therapeutic alliance. 

Lexi works together with her clients to help reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood and self-esteem, manage relationships and life transitions, and provide the tools and resources to constructively express and cope with emotions. Lexi supports her clients who feel stuck or dissatisfied gain better insight into their negative thought patterns that may be hindering their ability to achieve a fulfilled life. 

Lexi recognizes and understands the realistic challenges individuals may face every day in modern society, and will support her clients in managing and navigating these experiences. About Mikayla

Mikayla Greeley, LMSW, a proud Boston native, ventured to New York City for graduate school at Columbia University School of Social Work after earning her undergraduate degree at Hamilton College. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a double major in Psychology and Honors Sociology. Post-graduation, Mikayla worked at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she assisted young children with diverse psychiatric symptoms and their families, conducting comprehensive assessments and aiding in their care.

Approach

Mikayla has developed a profound sense of empathy towards clients with whom she works. Her focus is centered on engaging clients where they are when they enter into therapy. Her client-centered, strengths-based approach enables her to fully understand the challenges clients face and develop appropriate treatment plans. She places a premium on flexibility and creativity in this process, recognizing that clients may take time to recognize their existing skills. 

Drawing from her experience with evidence-based approaches, Mikayla acknowledges that individuals often seek therapy to enhance their coping mechanisms, and she understands that progress can be subjective for each client. Mikayla strives to tailor treatment based on the specific challenges identified by each client, offering targeted techniques in collaboration with her clients.

Mikayla firmly believes that a solid foundation and a therapeutic alliance are essential for positive outcomes. She recognizes that building trust and fostering comfort in sharing vulnerabilities can take time for those beginning therapy. About Isabella

Isabella Gabaldon, LMSW, was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and moved to Greenwich, Connecticut, at the age of six. Navigating the challenges of adapting to a new culture while preserving her Venezuelan heritage, Isabella’s early experiences were pivotal in fostering her resilience and adaptability. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Anthropology from the University of Colorado-Boulder, where she developed a deep appreciation for understanding diverse cultures and human behavior, and then pursued a Master of Social Work at Columbia School of Social Work, graduating.

Approach

Isabella brings a profound sense of empathy and compassion to her psychotherapy practice, focusing on meeting clients where they are in their personal journeys. Her client-centered, strengths-based approach helps utilize the unique challenges each client faces, and therefore Isabella develops tailored treatment plans that address specific needs. Isabella’s approach is characterized by flexibility and creativity, recognizing that effective therapy often requires innovative solutions and a willingness to explore different therapeutic methods.

Central to Isabella’s practice is her commitment to forming deep, trusting relationships with her clients. By understanding their experiences and perspectives, she creates a safe and nurturing environment that fosters healing and growth. Her own experiences as an immigrant provide her with valuable insights into the complexities of identity, belonging and resilience.

Isabella is skilled in using age-appropriate, relatable techniques to engage younger clients which allows self-expression and the ability to effectively build coping skills. By maintaining an open dialogue and actively seeking feedback, Isabella ensures that her clients feel supported and understood throughout their therapeutic journey. Her goal is to empower clients while helping them build on their strengths and navigate life’s challenges with resilience and confidence.

About Averi

Averi Kaplowitch, LMSW, has always had a passion for working with children and families from a young age. Averi was a double major in Psychology and Social Work with a minor in Human Development and Family Science at Syracuse University, where she then went on to earn her Master’s degree at New York University Silver School of Social WorkAveri has a wide array of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and young adults in schools and community settings conducting psychosocial assessments and providing individual and group psychotherapy to enhance the individual needs of her clients.

Approach

Averi provides a safe, warm, welcoming and accepting environment for her clients where they have a confidential space to openly express themselves by fostering compassion and empathy. Averi carefully structures her approach to meet each client’s unique and individual needs. She builds a strong therapeutic alliance by cultivating trust and open communication.

Averi is committed to helping her clients overcome challenges, foster social and emotional growth, enhance their overall quality of life, and gain concrete tools and coping skills. Her goal is to develop a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients that is a supportive mechanism for change and empowerment. Through active listening and a non-judgmental approach, Averi works collaboratively with each client to navigate life’s challenges.

Using a strengths-based approach, Averi empowers her clients to build upon their already established strengths to foster resilience. Using a multimodal approach to therapy including cognitive behavioral, person-centered, and a strengths-based focus, Averi helps her clients increase self-esteem and confidence. Averi’s clients leave her sessions feeling empowered and ready to take on daily challenges. She looks forward to making meaningful change with you.

About Parker

Parker is our therapy dog!

Parker is a Bernedoodle* dog who was raised in New York City. Parker's sweet disposition and genuine nature make him the perfect therapy dog to those who choose to work with him. Some of Parker's favorite activities include relaxing, going to the park, and playing ball whenever he can. Parker can't wait to sit by your side as he watches you find success and accomplish your goals.

​*Bernedoodle: Poodle and Bernese Mountain Dog mix. Parker is 75% poodle and only 25% bernese mountain dog making him non-shedding and allergy friendly.
